For most job seekers, your resume is your first chance to make a positive impression to an employer. Unfortunately for many job seekers, it can be a challenging document to create. After all how can you begin to summarize and communicate years of work experience into a one or two page resume?

Through my experience as an HR professional and a professional resume writer, I have seen thousands of resumes and unfortunately I have to say that the majority are very weak. I am continually amazed at how many applicant’s are underselling themselves.

From an HR perspective, having screened thousands of resumes,  your resume should stand out and be as unique as the person who wrote it.   So if your resume does not stand out, research some articles, take a resume writing course or hire a professional resume writer.
