Customer service is very important to this coffee establishment. As such, you will be required to handle customer service complaints. Tell me about a time when you had to resolve a customer complaint and ensure great service where the customer was very angry. How did you handle this?

The saying is that “the customer is always right”. Do you think this saying is true? How far does this saying go? Can you give me examples of when you worked in customer service where the customer was and was not right?

Starbucks is a very busy coffee bar, you will be required to work under pressure and deliver a great product and service. Tell me about a time when you had to work in a fast paced environment to meet production pressures, maintain a calm demeanor and quality standards.

A starbucks barista works in a team environment. We don’t always get along with everyone we work with. Tell me about a time when you had to work with someone you did not get along with? What was the cause of the friction? How did you resolve this?
