Account Manager, Staffing Agency Account Manager Job Interview Questions:

As a staffing account manager, you will be expected to qualify leads generated from our staffing telemarketing and marketing activities to identify and follow-up on the most promising prospects for our services. Describe a time when you followed-up with a lead and steps taken to attract and agree on representation? Provide and example of following-up with a candidate and a client lead.

The account manager is responsible for identify and qualify prospects from a wide range of enterprise companies. How would you attract and identify prospective candidates before other competing staffing companies? What process will you take to ensure the you have a strong candidate?

Scenario: As the key staffing account manager, you have just taken over a region previously held by a past employee. The problem is that numerous clients in this region are not happy with the service provided by the previous employee and this reflects poorly on the company. You are now forced to take over the region and re-establish good client relationships. What steps would you take to introduce yourself and re-build a strong relationship with these clients?

Scenario: You are a account manager responsible for all RFP documentation and submissions for your particular department. There are 3 excellent opportunities to work with high level clients. All three clients are reputable and can lead to large contracts. You have a week before the deadline to submit an RFP proposal for all three companies. How do you go about getting the RFP documents complete along with your day to day duties? What tools do you use to organize your time effectively?
