They don't have a good handle on the employer, or the job, much less answer the "soft" questions that they know they will be asked to answer. Questions in the job interview like, "tell me of a time when you had a dispute with a co-worker?" and "how did you get it resolved?' Or if working on a team, "tell me of a time when there was dissension on a team you were working on?" and "how did you get it resolved?"
