How “Casual” is Business Casual?


You have now spent week and perhaps months looking for employment opportunities and your phone finally rings for an in-person job interview. Before the call ends, the employer reminds you to dress business casual for the job interview. Putting the phone down, you ask yourself, what is “business casual”? Does this mean you can wear diesel jeans and a sweater? How about a polo shirt or casual shoes?
